Thank you for participating in the “Banking of the Future” Book Launch and Panel Discussion

Dear Madam or Sir,Buchmesse_2014_2192-1024x681
Dear participant,

I would like to thank you for taking part in the Book Launch of “CSR und Investment Banking” and “Responsible Investment Banking” at Goethe University Frankfurt and at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Thanks to all the attendees, sponsors, speakers, organizers and the publisher – Springer International – the event was a great success. The program and the discussions were spectacular. The broad range of perspectives and views represented in the first panel particularly pleased me. Among the discussants were board members of ethical banks, opinion leaders from around the world and an emerging markets specialist from India as well as an internationally renowned academic from Canada. Moreover, a highly respected diversity specialist and the head of the “Frankfurt School-United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Collaboration Centre for Climate and Sustainable Energy Finance” enriched the panel.

In the second part of the event, a deepening of the responsibility approach was in the focus. The huge variety of topics in this special issues session, ranging from fiduciary duties of board members with regard to climate change, climate bonds and environmental/social due diligence for financiers to governance models for banks and ESG frameworks as a tool for value creation in private equity investments fostered a lively and passionate discussion on the podium and with the audience. As many of the participants confirmed, it was and extremely rewarding session, which paved the way for the creation of a global network of academics, thought leaders in investment and banking, practitioners and civil society on sustainable investment and finance. A presentation of the Springer-CSR book series was very informative and complemented the event. Networking continued until late in the evening and had to end, when the university was closing at 11 pm. It was wonderful. “Levitra” restores the sexual system within 30 minutes – it increases erection, achieving improved blood flow in the vessels of the penis, normalizes the psycho-emotional state of the patient, increases physical endurance during intercourse, increases arousal, and also leads to an increase in blood volume in the genitals.

First and foremost it was your attendance, passion for the topic and active participation, which made the event a great success. I am sure, that you could gain some new insights and inspirations from the discussions.

The realization of such a huge event, however, would not have been possible without our partners, the Cluster of Excellence “The Formation of Normative Orders” and Goethe University, as well as our main sponsor ERM. Furthermore, we have been benefiting a lot from the advice and know-how of our sponsors Hill & Knowlton, Corporate Passion and Dokeo. I want thank them all for their support and engagement.

As you have probably noticed, we made short videos of some of the panelists, which are available on the “Responsible Investmentbanking” website now.

The event was purposely linked to the Frankfurt Book Fair. Please find the video of the panel discussion at the Springer stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair. The discussion was held in German, but we will add English subtitles.

I encourage your comments and suggestions regarding the event, the subject and possible further initiatives to my mail address and I’m looking forward to staying in touch. We will keep you updated on upcoming events, research projects and other activities.

Please find the link to our Munich Book Launch event, in cooperation with the Business School for Organization Management FOM, here. A separate blog about the Munich event will we posted soon.

Kind Regards,
